Designed to operate from two standard 12 - 13.2 or 14.4 volt camera
batteries it is ideally suited for the needs of mobile Video and
Film crews.
The Powerport docking system basic unit consists of 2 input
Ports on either side of the unit, and 1 output Port centrally
located for a battery operated ballast.
A battery overdischarge protection circuit protects the batteries
from being overdischarged.
There are 2 XLR type sockets, a selector switch and 2 sets of
indicator lights on top of the unit.
Battery locking plates and a ballast lock are fitted to
the outer side of the unit. The Powerport is fitted with a
removable shoulder carry strap and waist belt with quick-release buckle.
Body contoured, the unit is extremely comfortable to
wear around the waist or from the shoulder.
